UBADI encourages financial empowerment and economic development among its members through savings, investment opportunities, and responsible loan programs.

Through collective participation, members can strengthen their financial stability while contributing to the development of their communities.

 

Account Opening

Members who wish to participate in the UBADI financial empowerment program can open an account.

Account Opening Fee: UGX 20,000

After opening an account, members can begin saving immediately.

 

Savings

Members are encouraged to save regularly to build personal financial strength.

Savings can begin from: UGX 1,000 and above

Members are free to save any amount depending on their ability.

 

Withdrawals

Members have access to their savings when needed.

Savings can be withdrawn at any time through:

• Cash withdrawals
• Mobile money transfers

 

Shares Investment

Members can strengthen the cooperative financial base by purchasing shares.

Minimum Share Investment: UGX 100,000 and above

Shares help increase the financial strength of the initiative and create more opportunities for member support.

 

Fixed Deposit Investment

UBADI also offers fixed deposit investment options for members.

 

Fixed Deposit Option 1

Deposits between: UGX 100,000 – UGX 4,999,999

Interest earned: 2% per month

Fixed Deposit Option 2

Deposits of: UGX 5,000,000 and above

Interest earned: 5% per month

Loan Services

Members who actively participate in savings may qualify for loans to support their economic activities.

Loan Interest Rate: 3% per month

Loans may be used for:

• Business development
• Agricultural projects
• Personal financial growth
• Community development initiatives
